I first heard about the idea of creating rainbows a week or so ago, via a WhatsApp post of someone's FaceBook post suggesting it as an idea.

Our first family project this week was to create a rainbow for our front window - to add to the growing number appearing around Britain.

Why don't you make this your next project and turn your neighbourhood into a giant i-spy game for families and children going on their single walk a day - and spread a little joy?

In the UK lots of rainbows have been shared on social media, with one Facebook group called Chase the Rainbow suggesting: "Create a rainbow picture to display in your window so that children can go rainbow spotting whilst out for walks."
