Royal Albert Hall @ home series: Today Jazz for Kids - 2:00pm (BST)

Like many iconic venues around the world, the Royal Albert Hall has closed its doors due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the Royal Albert Home series sees artists sharing their work - from their homes to yours.

This Jazz For Kids session will be broadcast free on Saturday 25 April 2020 - 2:00pm (BST). It will also be available on demand after the initial broadcast.

The story is centred around Mr Bonamy Didcot’s grand plan to make an enormous jelly using the Royal Albert Hall as a mould!

Albert’s Band’s jazz supremo Arthur Lea will deliver an exclusive 30-minute Jazz For Kids set from his home as part of the Royal Albert Home sessions. In these strange times, closing the Hall’s doors is the best way to look after the world, but we are now opening a (virtual) window for you to experience some of the most talented artists around. Arthur Lea will take you on a journey of jazz around the world. From blues to mambo, and from New Orleans standards to Gerswhin classics, there’s something for everyone. Sing along, dance around, and have a doop-de-wop time!
