The Big Book Weekend - enjoy a free virtual UK literary festival this weekend!

The Big Book Weekend is a three-day virtual festival bringing together the best of the cancelled UK literary festivals over the Bank Holiday Weekend brought to life via MyVLF (the free global virtual literary festival venue).

Alongside a wealth of sessions featuring 27 different authors, there is a chance to visit the virtual cafe and mingle with fellow readers, visit virtual publisher and author stands in the exhibition and then go into the theatre to listen to the speakers.

All you have to do is register with MyVFL and join in... the first session starts at 10:00am (BST) on Friday 8th May.

The Big Book Weekend is a three-day virtual book festival that brings together the best of the cancelled British literary festivals, with a range of events 'presented' by the relevant festival, featuring the authors and other artists that would have appeared. There’ll be stuff for both kids and adults, festival die-hards and people who’ve never considered chatting about books in a tent. We are deeply committed to ensuring that the BBW reflects as many communities across the UK as possible, and the widest choice of reading tastes.
