Adventures at Home Festival: Saturday 23rd May - free festival with the Guides - all welcome!

Following on from their 'Adventures at home' activities and ideas for all ages during lockdown, Girlguiding are taking the Girlguiding festival experience online, and have a great line up planned, including music performances,  work-out sessions for the whole family, children’s magic and comedy shows, talks from a host of speakers (including Anna McNuff, Sally Kettle and Guilty Mother, Jo Wimble-Groves) , as well as 'how to' videos featuring arts, crafts and 'Clever Chemicals' videos from the Royal Society of Chemistry, plus a number of other topics... including football challenges courtesy of England Women’s Football Lioness star Jill Scott.

The day will end with a virtual camp building session, finished off with a virtual campfire, sing-along and film screening.

When: Saturday 23rd May from 10:30am (BST) to 7:30pm (BST)

Where: See the Girl Guiding website and YouTube

Who is it for: All ages are welcome, whether you’re a Girlguiding member or not. You and your family are invited to ‘dip’ in and out throughout the day, or you can join the fun for the whole day.

Adventures at home is all about trying something new, having fun and challenging yourself. Being an adventurer is a state of mind and it doesn’t have to stop just because we’re at home. We know things feel strange right now and you’re not able to get out and about doing the things you love. So we’re taking the Girlguiding festival experience online.
