Hay Literary Festival goes online - with a fab lineup of children's authors in their programme for schools (18th-22nd May)

The Hay Festival Digital will be free to view and will run from 18–31 May 2020. The 10-day literature festival is normally held in Hay-on-Wye in Wales, but for the first time will now take place in its entirety online, with the programme for  schools running from 18th - 22nd May.

Each day this week, from 8:00am (BST) onwards, you can see two primary authors (aimed at ages 7-11)  introduced by Konnie Huq and two secondary authors (aimed at ages 11-16)  introduced by Jenny Valentine. These events will be available on the day on the Hay Festival Programme for Schools website, to watch again on Hay Player, and you can access teaching materials to support children during and after the festival.
