Watch the summer solstice live from Stonehenge this weekend (20/21 June) - from wherever you are in the world!

English Heritage will livestream the summer solstice’s sunset from Stonehenge on Saturday June 20 at 21:26 (BST) and sunrise on Sunday June 21 at 04:52 (BST) to encourage social distancing. (The stones will not be open to the public, so do stay at home and watch online via their social media channels instead.)

The livestreams will also be saved on their Facebook page, in case you miss watching them the first time.

You can find out more about both the summer and winter solstice at Stonehenge on English Heritage's website page. You can also visit the brilliant Skyscape website - this has been created by English Heritage to enable people around the world to experience the skies above the iconic stone circle, to learn about movements of the sun, moon and planets and to see the solar alignment at Stonehenge.

We can't welcome you in person this year because of the measures in place to combat coronavirus – but our live coverage of sunset and sunrise means you won't miss a moment of this special occasion. Our cameras will capture the best views of Stonehenge, allowing you to connect with this spiritual place from the comfort of your own home.
