Starting Friday 20th Nov: a new, weekly free online storytelling series from The Story Museum, Oxford

Stories from the Woodshed is a new, weekly online storytelling series coming from The Story Museum in Oxford, UK: the most amazing, unique museum all about - you guessed it - books and stories. But this is no ordinary museum, and if you are ever in Oxford, it is a must to visit with children ...

Their first season - starting Friday 20th November - is inspired by Grimm’s fairy tales, but with a twist. Up first is The Wolf and the Seven Kids with brilliant storyteller, Amantha Edmead.

Stories from the Woodshed will be available free to watch on the The Story Museum YouTube channel and is aimed at everyone aged 7+.

Also, for a great online story resource, check out their collection of 1001 great stories - organised by story form, theme and exhibition. The 1001 Stories Collection includes stories for different age groups and interests, from different times and places and covering traditional tales, rhymes, songs, plays, musicals, books, comics, TV programmes, films, games and more…

Join our favourite storytellers as they bring to life the tales of the Brothers Grimm – remixed! Traditional tales jostle with Grimm’s inspired stories from around the world - meet a native American Cinderella, discover African spirit elves, marvel at the Brave Indian Tailor and kiss the Russian Frog Princess….
